Ave Maria Dance Academy

The Ave Maria Dance Company is a place for AMDA's elite dancers to take their dance education to the next level. Company members, chosen by audition only, train a minimum of 6 hours per week in technique classes as well as rehearsals. We believe a strong foundation in technique is vital to any dancer’s training, especially when given high-level choreography designed to both showcase and expand the dancer’s abilities.

At Ave Maria Dance Academy, our goal is not to win awards but to create experienced dancers. As such, we do not attend competitions but rather offer our students numerous performance opportunities throughout Florida. Such experiences not only cultivate the dancer’s technique but also afford them more opportunities to express themselves on stage.

In addition to our end-of-the-year recital, our company will showcase its work at our Christmas show, numerous local events, and more. We also offer our company members exclusive master classes with guest choreographers, classes that teach our dancers new forms of expression while further improving their technique.

Each company member is encouraged to discover their individual artistic expression while working alongside their fellow dancers. The Ave Maria Dance Company truly teaches its members to function as professional dancers while fostering life-long friendships among the dancers.

Our goal at AMDA is to provide our students with the highest quality training while nurturing a love for the performing arts. The members of Ave Maria Dance Company have a true passion for dance, a passion that moves them to put in the work that dance so often requires.
